Mesut looks after culinary matters, international projects and foodservice audits at Macintosh. Holding a master’s degree, he brings an analytical and practical approach to his work, helping clients consider how their catering facilities, equipment and food safety procedures support the needs of their operations.

His international work includes projects in remote locations, where delivering an effective foodservice operation can require careful planning. Mesut works with clients and the wider project team to help develop solutions that are appropriate for the location and practical for the people who will use them.

With a focus on culinary requirements, Mesut helps ensure that the way food is prepared and served remains central to the planning process. He considers how kitchens and support spaces can work together to provide a safe, efficient environment for catering teams.

Mesut also undertakes foodservice and HACCP audits, reviewing food safety procedures and controls and helping clients identify areas for improvement. Alongside this, he carries out catering equipment audits, assessing equipment condition, suitability and operational needs to support informed decisions about maintenance, replacement and future investment.

Working alongside the wider Macintosh team, Mesut brings together culinary, operational and food safety considerations to help clients make confident, well-informed decisions..

Alastair is a Foodservice Designer at Macintosh, working with clients and project teams to develop practical, well-planned catering facilities.

His role is to turn a client’s requirements into designs that work in practice. From kitchen layouts and equipment selection to storage, preparation and service areas, he considers how each part of the operation fits together and how staff will move through the space during a busy working day.

Alastair works alongside the wider Macintosh team to ensure that designs reflect both the operational brief and the constraints of the building. He considers the relationship between equipment, available space and building services, helping to coordinate foodservice requirements with architects, engineers and other members of the design team.

Whether working on a new facility or the refurbishment of an existing kitchen, Alastair understands that a successful design needs to do more than look good on a drawing.

It must be safe, efficient and suited to the people who use it.

His thoughtful and collaborative approach helps clients make the most of their available space and develop facilities that support their catering operation.
